Freeport, Grand Bahama – Sunday August 29th, 2010 Canon Father Curtis Robinson gave his final messages at St. Jude’s Anglican Church in the Church Parish Hall. Presentation was made to him from various families and the different auxillary, following the service there was a luncheon back packs and school supplies were given to all the students that attended the service..

Shakespeare in Paradise is pleased to announce its 2nd annual theatre festival to be held in Nassau, October 1st – October 11th , 2010. The event was formally announced at a press conference at the National Art Gallery on August 27th. The festival will open on October 1st and the Box Office opens September 20th for ticket sales

The Bahamas – Atlantis, Paradise Island, Hosts Death-Defying High Wire Stunts Breaking Current Guinness World Record for Highest Bike Ride Suspended more than 26 stories above the ground between the Royal Towers of Atlantis, Paradise Island and The Cove, Nik Wallenda, The King of The High Wire, made two death-defying stunts and at the same time broke the current Guinness World Record for highest bicycle ride (without a safety net) on August 28, 2010. A seventh generation high wire and aerialist star, Wallenda traveled by bicycle over 100 feet from the West to East Towers at Atlantis while suspended 260 feet with a breathtaking view of the world’s largest open-air marine habitat and the turquoise ocean of The Bahamas.
