The Grand Bahama Beach Bash with a Pirate-themed twist will culminate with a cultural showcase on Saturday evening, September 4 th ,presenting a Bahamian Concert under the stars. This event which includes a special buffet, Rake ‘n Scrape music, a display of Authentically Bahamian Crafts and a feature performance, will be located at Chop Beach at the end of Retail Street, and is open to both guests of the resort and residents of Grand Bahama Island

The prayer breakfast is the main fundraiser for The Surgical Suite Sister Sister Breast Cancer Support Group, which is comprised of survivors of breast cancer, a disease that continues to affect many Bahamian women at alarming rates

Nassau, The Bahamas – Repairs to the Gambier boat ramp, one of five boat ramps that The Bahamas Government has selected for upgrading, have been completed. The other ramps under repair are Brown’s Boat Basin, Jaws Beach, Marshall Road and South Beach.

In honor of my father, I will be kayaking from Ship Channel Cay, Exuma, to “Glenmore Beach” on New Providence. This will cover approximately 32 miles of open water kayaking and take approximately 6-8 hours to complete depending on the kayak design used.
