Glassidor Book Launch Provides Aid to Local Charity for Teens

Freeport, Grand Bahama – The science fiction book based on The Bahamas titled, Glassidor was officially launched into the future at the Ruby Swiss Restaurant on October 2nd, 2010. Persons buying the book, not only were supporting the island’s PACE Center, an educational facility for teen mothers, but they were treated to a dramatic performance featuring characters from the book, namely two Glassidors, Dee played by Susan Clegg-Missick and Ed played by Rico Thompson

Author of Glassidor makes book donation to Freeport Lending Library

Freeport, Bahamas – Local author, Lewis Walmsley who is set to publicly launch his science fiction book Glassidor on October 2nd at the Ruby Swiss Restaurant donated a copy to the Sir Charles Hayward Lending Library recently. Receiving the book on behalf of the library was Josephine Zonicle, Head Librarian and Shamika Gardiner, Library Clerk.
