Nassau, Bahamas — The Cabinet Office has launched an inter-agency news magazine entitled The Cabinet Files. The quarterly edition was officially unveiled by Secretary to the Cabinet, Anita Bernard, Monday, September 6. The objective of the magazine is to articulate the role, mission, vision and goals of the Cabinet Office and provide readers with government information.

Chinese Government Approves Baha Mar Project‏

Nassau, Bahamas – The Cabinet Office announced today that His Excellency Dingxian Hu, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, who is currently in China, has advised that his Government has given formal approval for various agencies of the Chinese Government to enter into a joint venture with Baha Mar Ltd. for the redevelopment of Cable Beach. The Ambassador returns to The Bahamas on August 18th.
