Nassau, The Bahamas – Deputy Controller of Road Traffic Brad Smith has announced changes to bus routes effective July 15. The Deputy Controller met with omni-bus franchise operators and drivers on June 14 to inform them of changes to routes including 5, 5A 10A, 11A, 12, 15, 15A, 16A and 21A

Nassau, Bahamas – Plans for the implementation of a one-way system for Baillou Hill Road and Market Street corridors are on schedule. On Tuesday, March 30 at 12:01 am the changes for phase one of the new system become effective, Charlene Collie-Harris, project civil engineer in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport said.

Nassau, Bahamas — Officers of the Royal Bahamas Police Force will be out in full force to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the construction phase of the one-way system for Baillou Hill Road and Market Street confirmed Sergeant Garland Rolle of the Traffic Division. “All uniformed police officers working on the island of New Providence will be involved with maintaining law and order in this area and for other road works going on in New Providence,” said Sgt Rolle. “Any officer in a patrol or motorcycle unit, once in uniform, understands his/her responsibility to enforce the laws of The Bahamas…”
